I'm a retired Army Officer. If that conjures up any stereotypes then they're probably fairly accurate. Now I do voluntary stuff: Mountain Rescue, Search Dog Handler, bagpipe band, Air Training Corps, kids' Duke of Edinburgh Award training. I do the maintenance for the local Church and I play the piano as well as I cook: appallingly badly.
