Likes:
… singing in the shower, good conversation, baking bread, sex, bringing humour (?), carpentry (boxes), putting a pic-nic together. Ok, so one of those isn’t true!
Music: (lots, can’t imagine life without) classical, blues, rock, jazz, live (Richard Hawley, Seth Lakeman, Caro Emerald).
Books: Smut, Mantissa, The Empty Family, Surely You're Joking, Mr Feynman!, The Third Policeman… and 101 things to do with a box!
Film: Love Actually (really), The English Patient (I cried), Life of Brian (I laughed), Alien (I screamed), There's Something About Mary (love Jonathan Richman?!)… sex positions with a box! Ok, so I have made one of those up!
TV: I don’t have one, on Catch-Up I might watch Come Dine With Me (Dave Lamb), Horizon, HIGNFY, MTW and, of course, First Dates (you’ve gotta love maitre d' Fred Sirieix!).
Food: I like anything, love cooking.
I've been lucky enough to work abroad (Malawi with VSO) and to travel (Africa/Europe).
Likes? Fun, art, sketching, seeing family/friends, people watching.
I work as an architect & access consultant, working to improve access for people with disabilities; I really enjoy it.
I have a mobility impairment which helps me to understand and empathise and yes, I’m quite short (4’ 7”, ask if you want to know more) - still, I could always get a box!. I'm a bit fed up with my reduced mobility but there's always the car!
Divorced 7 years ago after 30 yrs, I know it’s time to move on. We had two smashing boys; now 22 & 25 & at University.
I am a happy bloke with a sense of humour, and love laughs, cuddles, holding hands and... $£*!
