About her
My daughter is staying with me during lock down, so I asked her to describe me, & this is what she said: Loyal, kind, adventurous, always on the move (in other words likes to get things done), loves shopping.
My family & friends are a priority to me. As is my dog Peggy, a spaniel/poodle cross. Animal welfare is very important to me, so much so, that I gave up eating meat some years ago, I would still enjoy eating it, but can't cope with my conscience. I do however, still eat fish. I love music, probably more classical that others, but I also love Soul, Motown, some jazz. I enjoy watching the TV & going to the cinema, good restaurants, cooking. I'm quite independent & have travelled extensively over the years
Last August my first grandchild was born. He is the 'light of my life', he is staying with me at the moment, slightly challenging, as he's teething & you are supposed to be able to pass grandchildren back, which obviously isn't happening during these strange times. In normal times, I love to walk on the south downs, by the sea. I usually play canasta (card game) at least once a week. I work in a charity shop one afternoon a week & also volunteer at our community cinema.

That's a hard one!! Someone strong, but kind. With a working moral compass & sense of how lucky we are in the west. A sense of humour is so important to me, most things can be solved if you can laugh at yourself . I've been married & recently come out of a long relationship, so I suppose I'm looking for an equal to have fun times with, travel, walking in the countryside etc. I live very close to the South Downs & to the sea. I love nature & would hope to meet someone who has the same interests. It would be incredible to meet a soul mate, but of course, that's what everyone wants! Please no Aries, married to one, long relationship with another, enough said. A practical man, who can fix things would also be the icing on the cake.
