About her
I started to list my traits, likes and dislikes but it sounded more like a description of a golden retriever (I know because I have one) … loyal, kind, forgiving ,likes walks and the countryside, dislikes cruelty in all its forms etc.
So I thought I would simply describe myself as being a pretty normal human being (if there is such a thing as normal!) who doesn’t take herself too seriously, appreciates kindness and a good laugh (usually at my own expense).
I have been fortunate to have a fulfilling career that has taken me to many countries and whilst at times I thought “when I retire I’m never getting on another plane!” I’m now looking forward to travelling again, this time just for the fun of it and to share it with someone who isn’t a colleague!
Saying that some of life’s greatest pleasures can be found in the simplest of moments especially when shared with a friend or loved ones, I am blessed that my two lovely grandchildren certainly provide these on a regular basis !
