About her
I’ve shaken up the jigsaw of my life, spread it out on the table and am piecing it together in a new configuration. There’s a big missing section marked love, passion, joy, contentment, companionship, energy, laughter. It’s a big “ask” but I’m looking for someone with a perfect fit.
It’s exhilarating to have the freedom to go anywhere, meet new people, forge new friendships, have the chance to fall in love again. I’m fit, strong in mind and body, not afraid of much and eternally optimistic at heart. Carry no bitterness and am blessed to have a loving family that brings sunshine into my life. Watching my children build careers, homes and futures, marry and give me grandchildren to love is the summit of my achievements in life - the emotional rewards get wider, deeper and more fulfilling. I like to get on with things and feel as though I’m making progress towards a bettter future and am pretty creative in finding ways to get where I want to go. I would love to find someone special to share that journey with. I’ve recently retired from full-time work and am now looking forward to being able to indulge my interests. I love travelling and driving, especially in France and Italy. I would need to be tranquillised to go on cruise. I’m not a big fan of hotels either, preferring a more casual, do-it-yourself approach. I draw the line at camping - sorry, but those days were over 25 years ago. I’m more the crisp, laundered sheets kinda girl as opposed to a damp sleeping bag on a windy hillside.
My passions are listening to music, cooking, reading, swimming, dancing anywhere, anytime (including a lip-locked drunken stumble round the kitchen floor) yoga, buying shoes & snappy suits, music, ballet, opera, oratorio, jazz, blues, soul, buying & selling antiques (battered round the edges kind), did I mention music, walking, eBay, painting & decorating & house renovation, making stuff, interior design —-think you’ve got the picture by now. Can’t read music or play an instrument but would LOVE to learn.
