About her
I'm a retired music teacher and working professional musician living in San Diego, California - originally from the Chicago area of Illinois. I am free to travel and even relocate. I am a huge fan of all things English and try to visit at least twice a year. I play a variety of types of music and am in several groups and play several instruments. I love music, travel, animals (esp. cats) nature, history, architecture, arts, learning, playing music with people and get togethers with friends. I try to keep up on world events and want to do some good in the world. I'm very interested in all things European , and English esp. I particularly love "early" music and play in a Renaissance group, and also a community Baroque Orchestra. I also play fiddle in a band. Other interests are old cars, walks, movies, languages, biking, canoeing, going out to restaurants, yoga, swimming, visiting historic cemeteries, hanging out in bed, comedy. I used to be athletic but am less so now due to arthritis so I have had to cool it on a lot of activities I used to enjoy (or not enjoy but needed to do.) I try to be a glass half full kind of person as much as possible. I'm friendly and am honest and open. I own my own home free and clear and have no debt, and own an investment property in the Chicago area where I could relocate if desired. Would love to move overseas someday, at least for a while, if it's possible.

I'm looking for an intelligent man w/ similar interests, hopefully well spoken - who can spell. I am more like a man than a lot of women in that I want to be physically attracted to the man I am physically involved with, so if there is no attraction/chemistry then it wont work for me - that would include being more than 20 lbs overweight and not taking care of yourself. I am looking for a long term partner - marriage and even living together is optional. I have built a good and full life here, but am ready to move to a new phase if that's in the cards for me. I am affectionate w/ my partner and like touching/ being touched, and I don't fight or yell in relationships.
