About her
A lover of history, the older the better. I like music, reading, quizzes, and am interested in learning new things. Not the most athletic, but I do enjoy walks, in the countryside or best of all by the sea. Love sunsets and sunrises (doesn't everyone?) I can enjoy being with people, but am more the shy retiring type who likes listening rather than talking. Very fond of food, one of my favourite activities is eating out, with a fairly broad range of tastes. Recently retired, so going through a serious change in life style and not yet sure what direction that will take me, but approaching it with an open mind. Looking for someone who like me believes a pleasure shared is a pleasure doubled.

Someone who is kind, gentle and tolerant. A good sense of humour with a desire to share experiences and thoughts. Must be honest and willing to take things slowly. Doesn't have to be a MENSA candidate, but must have at least a general interest in the world and what is happening in it. Would enjoy eating out, visiting museums, churches, etc., the theatre and films. I love reading, and would want someone who is the same, Terry Pratchett fans definitely get preference.
