Not your average 50+. I have a sense of adventure - life is too short to sit back and watch! I love to dance and finally we are allowed! Eclectic taste in music - 80s, 70s, Classical and Northern Soul to name but a few.
Love being outdoors - gardening, running, walking, cycling - even in the rain. Wet hair dries! Love to rough it camping or glamping but also enjoy putting on the glad-rags for an afternoon tea or a dinner dance. I've lost 4 stone in 2 years and am not stopping there. Last year I went gliding and paddle boarding - both new experiences.
My job keeps me out of mischief. I do enjoy it although it can be full on at times. I am independent and self-sufficient but cooking for one isn't much fun. My home is my castle although it's great to be able to get away for weekends again.
I discovered three years ago that my maternal great-grandmother was a Native American-Indian. Maybe I'm looking for a cowboy to mosey on through life with?
My family and friends are extremely important to me. Mum and dad are amazing parents and still look out for me. My friends would probably describe me as honest, loyal, generous, intelligent, comical and a little bit crazy.
I love the theatre and have tread the boards as an amateur actress for the past 18 years, doing both plays and pantomimes - oh yes I have!
I am tall so please appreciate I prefer a taller man - 6ft +.
