I love dipping my toes in the ocean, a meal or a quiet drink in a country pub, sitting by an open fire on a winter’s evening, listening to good music and a walk with a picnic lunch somewhere beautiful.
I love to play the piano - and to listen to it being played. My two favourite piano concertos are Brahms’ 2nd in B flat major, and Rachmaninoff’s 3rd in D minor, although I’ll never be anywhere near good enough to play either of them.
I also enjoy a good film, enjoy family time, and I’m fortunate enough to love my job, as an emergency call handler for the ambulance service. The best part is giving instructions on how to deliver a baby and hearing that first cry!
