I'm a warm, caring easy-going and dependable lady with a preference for culture and the outdoors. Fairly quiet personality with positive outlook. Varied interests. Enjoy fell-walking, cycling, quality theatre, listening to music (classical mostly), nature and animals. I'm not well travelled, and would have liked to see a little of the world beyond these shores, but perhaps travel now is not ethical given the state of the planet?? There are many wonderful places in this country to explore.
Work full time in an interesting and demanding field although not far off retirement.
Live alone in a quiet leafy suburb close to country walks, with my trusty ageing cat, who has been wonderful company during the past two years which have been challenging. However, hope is on the horizon and life will return to relative normality in due course. Looking forward to making new and happy memories with that special someone. Friendship first and see how things go.
