I'm looking for a special someone to spend quality time with doing fun stuff, sharing challenges and opportunities. I'm heading towards retirement but not quite there yet. I'm solvent and footloose and fancy free. I'm interested in a mutually respectful relationship with a like-minded guy of similar age ( give or take a few years). I'm not particularly sporty, but don't mind if you are. I do like being out and about in the city, eating out, theatre, nice cocktail bars, exhibitions etc. But quiet weekends in country house hotels are great too. My ideal match would be someone of similar age ( give or take a few years either way). They would probably be unencumbered by children (or much else) at this stage in their life, professional (still working or retired), solvent, reasonably local to me, up for some romance and adventure. I'm not that fussed about looks, though I'm 5'7'' so being on the tall side would be helpful. I don't care about religion (I'm an atheist). No smokers or heavy drinkers please. If you have a good brain and a wicked sense of humour that would be great too!
