I divorced a long time ago, and my son and daughter moved in with me. It is a matter of great pride to have been with them and to support them growing up, and to see them both through University.
I work extremely hard and have had a wonderful career. My hope is to bring this to a close within the next 3-5 years. A serious illness a few years ago reminded me that fate always plays its hand, and there really isn’t too much time to waste.
I have been very fortunate to have travelled widely, and have lived and worked in Canada on two occasions. Canada is now my preferred destination for a vacation each year. However, I’m open to suggestion about other destinations when the world returns to normal!
Music is my life-long hobby and passion, both making it, and listening in equal measure. I enjoy Classical, Prog-Rock, Classic Rock, and of course the music of the 80’s! I love live music, and normally go to several concerts each year, and to the Ballet with my daughter.
I’m quite impulsive, like nice things, and have a good sense of humour in the right company. I’m looking to meet someone with an open mind, who’s happy just to see where it leads. A little "Devil-may Care" attitude would be great! I’m an optimist, and I hope you are too.

I'm looking for someone who is happy to make a new friendship with no fixed agenda. I enjoy music, walking and fair-weather cycling. We only come this way once, and so an open-minded and slightly "Devil-may Care" attitude would be great!
Under normal circumstances we would eat out, play out and visit Canada on vacation. I'm very open to suggestion about other destinations, once we're eventually allowed to take off there! I hope you have a sense of humour, value honesty and have a job that you enjoy.
