About him
We’re all real people, so if you have a sense of who you are, and where you’re going, but you’re not totally sure either, then, hey, me too!
I’ve traveled widely in my life, lived and worked in many countries, and it’s certainly shaped my outlook on the world. These days, the odd city break to nearby destinations in Europe would be on my list after lockdown, still lots to explore.
I’m a good cook, and would enjoy making tasty meals for you. If I have a preference, I favour Asian cuisine, but all kinds really.
I liked a wide variety of music, ranging from heavy metal to pop to baroque, you name it. I play the piano vaguely ok and the guitar desperately poorly. I have a lingering desire to get a drum kit one day, but can’t quite justify it to myself.
I don’t really think of myself as having hobbies, but rather lots of interests that come and go. There’s just too many fascinating things in the world, so I like to sample it all!
I like to think of myself as calm, rational, quite scientific in my outlook - which reflects my education and personality.
And I possess the obligatory sense of humour. Imagine reading a profile where someone said they had no sense of humour at all - “I’m miserable and unfunny”. For me, I like the surreal, the dry, the absurd, and verbal humour.
