About her
You won't usually find me cuddled up in front of a roaring log fire in my little black dress with a glass of wine in hand, keen to shower you with kisses (that is, if I'm not striding glamorously in my wellies en route to a country pub...). I don't really fit that stereotype.
I enjoy University Challenge, poetry, literature, rare books, music, unusual authentic things. I dislike hypocrisy, dishonesty, mind games and self-pity.
The environment matters a lot to me. The natural world helps me to put life into perspective. Currently I'm aspiring to become a better gardener.
I value what is genuine, and always try to leave the earth a better place, even in small ways. Others, I hope, find that I am a good friend.

Mature, emotionally literate, a good communicator not afraid to stand up for those less fortunate. Possibly a cat lover. Someone generous and realistic, who's comfortable with themselves, and doesn't need to try hard to impress. Not perfect, though, because they're also human.
Likely to be an independent thinker, not a crowd-follower. An edgy sense of humour would be good.
Someone I'd really miss when apart, but not so needy that they couldn't allow someone else their own space.
