My friends describe me as ‘lovely’ and fun to be with.Honest and trustworthy a good listener and motivator.....a people person! Not the typical retired teacher! I love to cook and enjoy long summer evenings out in the garden spent with friends enjoying good food, wine and conversation. I like to travel, (exploring new cultures), go to concerts, art galleries, sporting occasions, museums etc. I am not a ‘Gym Bunny’.I am much happier playing a sport. The only sport that I play regularly nowadays is golf. As a country girl I like to go for walks and keep in touch with nature. I am learning to play the piano(thanks to the virus lockdown), attempting to paint and write children’s stories: I have also developed an interest in gardening, especially growing vegetables!
To relax I read and listen to classical music and spend time with friends.My take on life is a positive one. The glass is always half full.
