I have experienced a lot in life but can still be thrilled and enchanted by the world and by interesting and thoughtful people. I have been described as friendly, bright, with a propensity to laugh easily. But I also know how and when to empathise, be practical and measured. I love the company of my family and good friends, and have missed going for sociable meals with them during the pandemic. I like good conversation, reading and watching movies, the theatre, music - I enjoy a walk in the country or by the sea. I do like animals, but don't/can't have one at the moment. I have a positive outlook on life, but understand that we all encounter obstacles on the way. What is it 'they' say: this life isn't a rehearsal. So let's make the most of it!

Friendly, kind, positive, fairly intelligent, with a bit of life experience. Someone with a good heart and a good sense of humour (very important) and is able to see the other person's point of view (even if you haven't experienced it). They enjoy a good meal, good conversation, a walk in a beautiful location. Someone who would like to travel around Europe (when and if we can), as well as within the UK. Who likes learning about other cultures and has an interest in history. I guess what would make the relationship work is the ability to laugh, love, and be honest and kind.
