I'm creative and full of energy. Love the arts, painting, illustration, photography, music, theatre, film...and writing. And I love to discuss them. Home life and home making is also important to me. My career as a Creative Director in advertising has always been my hobby too, but now I'm semi-retired, I appreciate the time for the simpler things in life. The outdoors, gardening, cooking, travelling especially. And family time. I'm very sociable and gregarious and have many friends, whom I value immeasurably and love to entertain. That's my best way of having fun and relaxing. I have a positive outlook on life, a sunny disposition, and a very much 'can-do' attitude, always.
About her ideal match
I'm looking for a man who has an interest in and appreciates the arts, but by no means has to work in that field. In fact, I'd love to meet someone whose life and career experience is maybe very different to mine. A mature man, with a strong character and life experience, possibly a grown up family of his own. Someone who wants to share life and its adventures with me, and someone who is kind. A man who values their own 'space' as well as mine. Independent and financially comfortable is important to me. A non-smoker, and someone who loves animals, as I have a lovely cat! The activities I'd like to share with a partner would be anything in the arts, enjoyment of food, cooking and entertaining, being sociable and gregarious with friends and family, and certainly travel. I have so much more time for that now that I'm semi-retired and my son is an adult. It's a deal breaker that this special someone is solvent, or even 'comfortable' financially - I'm at the stage of my life where I don't want to have to worry about these issues. It really matters to me that the man I meet has a good sense of humour - humour is so important to my soul! The other deal breaker would be I'm not at all sporty in any way, so anyone hugely interested in sports is not going to be a great match for me? A kind, mature, interesting, single man, looking for companionship, joy and laughter and some travel...what could be better?
