A new friendship would be nice, and if it becomes something 'special' then that would be an added bonus and a new adventure. It would be lovely to have someone to do 'absolutely nothing' with (on the days when we felt like doing absolutely nothing) and to be able spend time sharing life and being together.
I like walking my dog, days out, reading, singing and cooking and during lock down I discovered Wentworth wooden jigsaw puzzles. I have two grown up children living independently about an hour away, and two little grandsons.
In 'normal times' I am a volunteer visitor at the refugee detention centre at Gatwick and also a volunteer in the local hospice.

I would love to meet a warm hearted chap, someone affectionate and friendly, with a nice kind face and an attractive speaking voice - like a Richard Burton sort of voice. But it’s personality that really counts, although the things that I’ve mentioned above are important to me as well. I can’t think of many things in life that aren’t better when they are shared, especially a sense of humour and good conversation.
Honesty, loyalty, trust and reliability are vital for any good relationship to flourish, and I don't think that there is anything more to say, either you 'click' with someone or you don’t. Sometimes there is no explaining in words what creates the magical chemistry that makes a good relationship.
