My friends and family would describe me as calm, kind, compassionate and fun.
I'm new to Manchester, moving just before lockdown. I moved to help look after my grandson (5 today). I now have 3 grandchildren!
I made some lovely new friends while volunteering at a local charity bookshop, at a French conversation class, and an art course.
I have left the art class, but I would like to continue at my own pace. It's very satisfying (when it goes right!)
As well as art galleries, I love history, reading non-fiction and watching dramas like Wolf Hall.
Cooking and the French language are other loves.
I went to India for 6 weeks when I retired and did some teaching there. I've been to Singapore and Mexico, and going to the US next year. Love Greece and Italy, but I would love to see more of this country. I'd be very happy in a cottage in autumn in Scotland, as long as there was a log burner!
