About him
I am retired after many years of working (too) hard and I would now like to be more grasshopper and less ant.
I would be a witty and amusing companion as I am well read and have many interests, including photography (I am the photographer for the local rugby club), literature (particularly 19th century French novels), music (mostly classical) and the theatre. I enjoy dining out, particularly enjoying world cuisine.
I play golf but am otherwise not particularly sporty. I enjoy cooking, principally as a means to giving pleasure to others.
I am loyal, kind and honest - I value personal integrity above all. i am empathetic and sensitive to others' needs and desires. I am eternally optimistic and enthusiastic and believe that life should be played with a light touch as much as possible - there are enough dark times that we have to go through

I'd like to meet someone with whom to be friends, go to concerts and other events and possibly go on holiday (when permitted). I'd like to cook for you! My ideal date would be a nice meal out followed by a concert or play.
You would have a wide range of interests, not necessarily the same as mine (variety is good). Enjoying watching rugby would be a plus but definitely not essential.
