About him
I am a semi-retired newspaper journalist who was invited to make a comeback when fellow scribes were furloughed by Covid. I am hoping to find a kindred spirit who is positive, outgoing and is in interested things that cross our paths. I love discovering what excites other people. I am a volunteer with a couple of charities, having founded one, and I enjoy getting stuck into community events – including sitting outside my lovely village pub and chatting over a pint or a coffee. I enjoy having fun in the kitchen (as well as cooking), catching up with friends at our local football, visiting heritage steam railways and generally getting out and about. There is a lot of Essex that is simply lovely. I have family in Oz, so I have travelled round the world a couple of times but there are many places in the UK that I would like to visit and I am not letting PD limit my plans. We may not always agree on things and I will admit to my mistakes but then there is the joy of kissing and making up xxx.
