About her
My friends say I'm sweet, intelligent, kind and funny - but of course they would! My optimism and excitability can drive some people nuts, so you'll need to have at least a sizeable chink in any cynical armour to stomach me, but I need my quiet downtime too.
I'm a people person and my favourite thing to do is spend time with friends and family, laughing, having both fun and deep conversations and making memories together.
I like cosy pubs (ideally with board games), relaxed nights in, jokes, reading, films, fun museums, exhibitions and events, and going to the theatre, opera and ballet occasionally too. My bike, Elle, is my pride and joy and I love taking scenic though not vertically-taxing rides around London. I love learning new things, especially languages and different cultures.
Outside work, I've spent quite a bit of time travelling and having moderately adventurous adventures - some of my favourites have been taking a paddle-steamer from New Orleans to Memphis, riding a skidoo across a glacier in Iceland, like James Bond except slightly more cautious, and camel riding in Tunisia. I really enjoy exploring the history and culture of places I visit, balanced with a good bit of relaxation and sunshine.
