I am a happily 99% retired gentleman with a 47 year career background in the chemical manufacturing industry.
I enjoy travelling, reading, snowboarding, and a 45 minute cycle ride most mornings. I also run a music class for a few pals most weeks.
My reading is all about learning and absorbing information - 99.9% non-fiction - history, autobiography, and crime/law.
I have a very broad general knowledge and speak passable Greek. It's my favourite part of the world to visit; I might even go and live there soon.
I enjoy researching my family tree. Through this, I have discovered two great uncles who perished as crew on the Titanic.
I can play a few musical instruments, and have played in a few unknown bands over the years, but am not much interested in performing anymore, be it in private or public.
