About her
I'm an affectionate and happy soul. Tears of laughter can fall if something gets me, often the sense of ridiculous.
I love family, being entertained, dogs (miss having a dog), walking, cooking, eating, gardening, singing, the natural world over city life. I listen to Classic FM on most days whilst tapping away at my laptop over looking amazing nature in my back garden. I especially love it when I can fling my doors open so I can listen to the sound of the birds. I have just become a Nordic Walking instructor and really enjoying the sociability and exercising in nature.
I like to feel useful and wanted, dont we all?
At heart I'm a homebird and would like to make a home with someone I care about, sharing the mundane and the exciting things in life and laughter. I have learnt to enjoy my own company and dont feel lonely but know that life would be enriched by sharing it with a loving partner.
Saying that I also want to explore different cultures. I went to India with my daughter, an experience I will never forget. We backpacked from South to North on trains, tuktuks, taxis and internal flights. I found it pretty challenging but glad I did it and we returned just before COVID kicked off luckily. I have never tried a cruise and now not sure whether I will...
I also look forward to weekends away exploring different countryside and an occasional city break, especially now we are returning to life….
