I am a fun, sociable person but I do not have to be the life and soul of the party.
I read non-fiction mainly but I am not a bookworm. I like most music but haven't got my head around rap yet!. But music is not constantly essential for me Technically I am visual/kinaesthetic rather than auditory.
I love theatre and film. I once took a friend to see Fleabag and enjoyed it immensely - I thought she was enjoying it too but she declared at the end that it was the worst thing that she had ever seen and she hated every moment of it. It wasn't the end of the relationship but I think it came close.
I am a very active, adventurous person. I cycle thousands of miles in foreign lands usually on my own just because it is easier to immerse myself in nature that way. These 'expeditions' require much planning and time but I am not driven by them in the way that a true explorer is. To be honest it is probably more about a purpose and a diversion from having no one special to care about, other than my family of course which is very important to me. I also enjoy skiing and sailing.
But I am also very happy whiling away an afternoon without doing much at all - just being happy in someone's company.

This is hard. It is very difficult to be specific and I don't think I could define 'ideal'
Optimism, openness, sincerity, and positivity would all be important. Someone with those qualities would probably be fun.
Maybe someone to distract me from wild adventures or perhaps join me on less intense ones.
Everyone likes good food and the theatre etc don't they?
