I’m a great companion, a lover of nature, the arts, ideas and the beautiful things in life as well as food, interiors and gardening. I enjoy walking, especially by water, and wild swimming,
I've been a journalist and worked in the arts including running an arts centre and festival. Having recently done a Life Writing course I'm now writing regularly which I'm finding both exhilarating and challenging.
In the past I've been heavily involved politically from campaigning to leadership roles. I've served as a non-executive especially in the health/care sector and now do some semi-voluntary work.
I have a lively mind and personality as well as being calm and thoughtful.
Devoted to my two daughters and grand-daughter I find plenty of time for travelling - most recently to France, Vienna and Cornwall.
