About her
Hello 🙂 Thank you for taking the time to have a look at my profile. Isn’t it weird writing about yourself in an advertising kind of way? I’m sure most of us find it a bit uncomfortable.
A friend of mine once described me as a ‘talented eccentric’ which I took to be a great compliment – particularly the ‘eccentric’ bit! I’ve realised that I don’t fit the mould and have to own up to this so that anyone looking for an average, ‘normal’ person can scroll on by! I don’t like the things that you’re supposed to like and I do like the things you’re not supposed to like - nothing sinister - for clarification, please get in touch and I’ll illuminate you further. 😉
Who am I then? Well, it’s taken a lifetime to find out! I am a highly sensitive person, an unconventional, generally arty, quick-witted, classical musician, poet, comedienne, actress, linguist and (possibly?) interesting person with a rather off-the-wall sense of humour. In spite of this description, I am often quiet and contemplative. Socially, I can be unsure of myself and rather shy and hesitant until I feel ok about my surroundings.
Likes and dislikes?
I like the arts and in particular, classical music. I trained as a classical singer and I play the piano badly.
I like beauty, truth, kindness and justice and all that they encompass and I dislike their opposites, ugliness, falsehood, unkindness, cruelty and injustice, all of which seem to be dominating the atmosphere of the world at present.
I like cooking for friends and family, eating out and in and I do like a glass of wine. I like to be amongst nature but I also like to be at home.
I am a deep thinker and an empathetic, thoughtful, gentle warm-hearted, kind, loving and trusting person which has sometimes cost me a great deal personally. I have so much love and joy to give with nowhere for it to go .........
