I am a Christian and my faith is very important to me. I consider myself ‘faith-full’ as opposed to ‘religious’. I am accepting and respectful of all, my friends include those who share my faith, those with a different faith and those who have none.

I love warmth, wit and humour, museums, galleries, classic films and literature, Tolkien, Lovecraft, ghost stories, theatre, ballet, music from classical to pop (and most genres in between), walking/hiking in the countryside, exploring historical sites, good food, cosy cafés, country pubs, yoga, health and fitness, tea & cake (I eat healthily but don’t deny myself treats, life’s too short!), open fires, laughing ‘til I cry and indulging my ‘inner child’.
I'm not a big fan of the summer heat (much prefer bright, crisp spring and autumn days). I'm British, I'm not built for heat, I'm built for rain!
