About her
I love to be active and positive and worked until fairly recently. I love the countryside and city equally as my hobbies range from Nordic Walking to theatre and Art galleries. I also consider myself as a 'traveller ' and not a 'tourist 'as I like to be as natural and real as I can be and open still to the wonderful possibilities of life.
I have grandkids who think I am young and crazy and like spending time with me but equally I spend a lot of time with my students who are far older in their ways than me. I can have a serious side though and like to be involved with voluntary work and helping other people. When I relax I like nothing more than good food ,good wine and good company .
I have spent a lot of time thinking about others in my work and at home and have almost forgotten what it would be like to meet someone new outside of my close knit circle. Someone special...just for me to share lots of fun and happy times with.

He would have to be Centre Left as I have spent most of my working life with those less fortunate. I am also very European in my outlook and don't like parochialism. You don't need to have travelled a lot but be open to differences and embrace diversity.
I rate 'kindness ' highly and the sense that you feel comfortable with yourself. No need to impress artificially. Just be yourself and kind. I think any relationship should be fair ,honest and genuine. I am not looking for 'happy ever after ' but enjoying the moment.
I would like someone who likes the Arts: theatre, cinema,music and books but happy to take on someone 's interests ( I don't ride a bike for example but would happily walk along side). A deal breaker would be someone who would want me all the time. I have a family and friends who are a part of my life and make me who I am but I still have time and affection to give...just not 24 hours a day!
