About her
The purpose of life is to live it - I enjoy life - it could
be more fulfilling with a loving and interesting partner. Personality wise like most of us, I am a mixture of qualities. Sometimes reserved and sometimes gregarious, it depends on the people and the situation. I am warm, caring and sensitive; reliable and trustworthy and have a high degree of integrity.
I enjoy good company and good conversation, have a sense of fun and love off the wall humour. I don’t take myself seriously, but I am concerned about serious issues, such as inequality and injustice.
Have lots of interests and a busy life - mostly centred on the arts and music. I am interested in and curious about people and the world around me - both the natural world and the built environment - architecture, art and design. My cultural life is important to me.
My taste in music is wide and varied, love early music, JS Bach and Beethoven - to soul music, jazz, rock and R&B.
Fell walking especially in Northumberland and Scotland, is my main form of exercise. Love being out on the moors.
I have always enjoyed travelling and meeting new people. In the past I have travelled around the world on my own, mostly to carry out research: now would like a companion to share the excitement of visiting new places and creating new memories.
