About her
My friends would call me interesting and maybe opinionated, i.e. something to say on any subject. I love music, pets (cats & dogs & fish). For fun I like hanging out with friends, not necessarily going out, but do enjoy restaurants and music venues. No hobbies, but I used to really enjoy my garden, grow my own vegetables, some fruits. I have many indoor plants ranging from tall trees to orchids and ferns. I like reading, particularly non-fiction science subjects written for lay persons. My outlook ... hmm ... we are here on Earth for a short time (in the universal scheme of things), so eat, drink, and be merry. I did quite a bit of travelling when I was younger and might consider doing so again.

I want someone I can have discussions and conversations with that aren't always about the reality of current events and dysfunctional governments around the world. I would be interested in someone who reads books, literature, history, philosophy. I do not want a romantic partner, just someone I can hang out with, but, you never know, if that happens, it would be ok too. They must like and care about animals. People who think animals are lesser beings than humans, well, goodbye. Also, anyone with strong religious or political views they insist on sharing whether I want to hear about it or not, would be a deal breaker.
