I’m looking for a companion to share my life with. Someone that might like to hold hands or give me friendly cuddle. Someone to share a knowing look where words are unnecessary or conversely share ideas with.
I’m happiest when walking in the countryside perhaps by a river or even by the sea.I would like to tour all areas o Britain maybe with my dogs but mostly I want someone to share these things with.
I love animals especially my 3 dogs. They are such good listeners.
I love listening to music particularly classical and listen regularly to classic fm. I also like playing my ukulele and singing along to the old favourites from 50s to the 70. I belong to an energetic ukulele group.Theatres play houses or restaurants are much more fun if you’ve got someone to go with.
I read to relax and enjoy a good film on tv. I watch the news and take an armchair interest in
politics. I worry about the sad state the world seems to be I but am also optimistic that some improvements could be made. Well I live in hope for the future of my two lovely grandchildren.
Over 20 years teaching children and young people with autism gave me great satisfaction and a sense of usefulness. Retirement left a big hole in my life which I try to fill. I fill a lot of time with friends I’ve made as a member of an art group and the ukulele group and an amateur choir. But still there is a vacuum in my life left by my husband of 54 years who died relatively recently having suffered from Parkinson’s and osteoarthritis and dementia. I would like to meet a widower who is lonely like me
