I'm friendly, outgoing and enjoy socialising, eating out, walks in the countryside with my dog, holidays and craft hobbies. To keep my very average brain active I read all sorts of books, am doing an on- line French course ( did get an O Grade many moons ago!) and relearning Italian which used to be very good. I enjoy puzzles and play bridge with myself on the computer. I volunteer on various committees. I like light classical and easy listening music, cinema and theatre but do miss companionship for visiting the latter two. I am interested in the news and state of the world but definitely not celebrity stuff. I have never been good at sport but come from a very sporty family and was married for 52 years to a keen tennis, squash and golf player so have watched many a sporting event since the age 4 when I was a goal post for my brothers' football games! However I did bowl pre-covid and a broken wrist. I love going on holiday at home and abroad and have managed to be courageous enough to go to Morocco and Italy on my own but it's not the same as having a loved one with you!
