About her
I’m an easygoing, calm person who’s a good listener. I’m funny (ask anyone!), and I love spending time with someone who also makes me laugh. I’m strong and resilient, and optimistic. And while this sometimes comes back to bite me, I still prefer my outlook over one that is eternally full of gloom and doom. I ask lots of questions because I love finding out what makes people tick.
I’m creative, especially with paper, and love reading crime fiction - not trashy thrillers but good old police procedurals like those by Lawrence Block, Ed McBain, Stuart MacBride and Ian Rankin. I don’t watch much TV, but enjoy shows like Would I Lie To You, QI, Only Connect, Blue Bloods, etc. My favourite series of all time is The West Wing.
I don’t like cheese (unless it’s mozzarella on a pizza, or Parmesan on pasta - go figure), and I abhor mayonnaise. I hate wasps with the heat of a thousand suns.

I’m looking for someone who will be my friend, my confidant, my cheerleader, and my sounding board. If there is a mutual attraction then wonderful, but even if there isn’t, I need someone who can give great hugs. And in return I will give you great hugs back.
I’d like someone who can be serious when the situation demands it, but otherwise isn’t too heavy. Someone who can hold a conversation on lots of different topics, but isn’t afraid to say when they know nothing about a subject. And someone who can make me laugh until the tears roll down my leg. 😄
