I think my friends would describe me as fun, charming, friendly, outgoing, loyal, sporty & ambitious, with a penchant for the great outdoors and a new adventure!
I am someone who thrives on being busy, having lots to do and being busy in life. But I also love nothing more than spending time in the evening curled up in front of a log fire playing Scrabble and listening to a favourite composer - or having dinner at a favourite or new restaurant.
I have a small property letting business and I'm in the throes of starting up a new local part-time business as well.
I love to cook - Thai food is one of my favourites - and I'm equally happy with bangers and mash. I love organising small dinner parties for close friends. I'm always up for a holiday in new and exotic places.
What do I love? Walking on a wild and windy day in the Scottish Highlands or other beautiful places, diving off a ketch floating round the Greek islands, rummaging in a souk for untold treasures, sleeping in a snazzy tent in the middle of the African bush listening to the sound of wild animals all around. Skiing through fresh powder snow on a sunny day on a Swiss mountain. But down hill skiing days are over for me now - but instead there is always cross-country and apres-ski!
I am a very positive person and try not to take life too seriously. I find it a challenge to get through those little barriers in life that seem to appear sometimes - I think they are lessons to be learnt. I must still have a few to learn!
I choose not to take pharmaceutical products, unless it's absolutely necessary, or for a life-threatening situation, despite being raised in a family of GP's in a medical environment.
