Funny, friendly and up for new horizons — whether that’s skiing, rowing, hiking, or discovering a new indie theatre or comedy night. I love live music the smaller the venue, the better, but not in restaurants - the volume gets in the way of a decent conversation
I’m Yorkshire born and bred — the accent’s softened but the straight-talking honesty remains. Case in point: I did consider knocking five years off my age (because, let’s face it, ageism is real), but my northern values of truth and integrity won the day.
I’m independent, solvent, and not auditioning to be anyone’s nurse, chef, or chauffeur 😜. This spring I rowed four days through the Netherlands and train three times a week — so you’ll need a decent pair of trainers and a sense of adventure.
I do occasional work as a personal trainer and love a good circuit class. I play golf and ski , just love the outdoors.
Ideally, something that starts with friendship and shared laughter — and grows from there. Oh, and I don’t respond to “likes” — life’s too short to faff about.
