My friends would say that I am a reliable and caring friend. I love laughing and trying out new experiences. I always have music with me and have eclectic tastes from heavy metal to classical music, folk to rock, but not modern jazz. I was a chef for a number of years and love to cook or go out and try something new. I enjoy gardening and painting. I have a great love of history and archaeology. I recently spent a day in Ely to see the cathedral, Cromwell's house and have a meal out. It would have been good to have shared it. A pub night out is a good way to relax after a day at work. I have a very demanding job in education and sometimes I just want to curl up with a glass of wine and watch the box. I studied for a degree quite late and I am still climbing a career ladder, so I don't drive and don't yet have a house of my own. I don't have children. I am tall and curvy. I smoke very moderately and enjoy drinking beer and wines.

I would like to meet someone who is honest and reliable. If he has children, that's absolutely fine, and I can accept that there will be responsibilities he has to carry. Looks are not the be all and end all in a relationship, but given my height and curves, a big guy would be good but certainly not essential.
