Loyal friend…….known each other for 47 years, first as a work colleague and then as a friend. Seen many changes during that time both in our personal lives and in the world around us. Throughout, we have remained friends and no doubt will do until the time comes when we forget each other’s names!
Character…….strong.
Personality…….mostly outgoing. He can strike up a meaningful conversation with most people.

Sense of Humour……excellent. Always happy to share a joke or a humorous situation.

The most important thing is trust. I need to completely trust my partner in every way. She will be kind and honest. These are the qualities that mean the most to me. She will have a sense of humour, and a free spirit - willing to do anything spontaneously (e.g. go on holiday the next day, to somewhere we have never been before). She will enjoy music - not just classical! - and the arts in general. A deal-breaker could be a woman who knows how to transform a house into a home, and make it a place to be proud of
Just to add that I have lived in Japan, Switzerland and France in the past. I've spent short working spells in Dubai as well. In Asia I have visited China, Hong Kong (several times), Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand. In Europe - too long a list. In the Americas - USA, Mexico, Cayman Islands, Jamaica and Barbados. I'm open to the idea of emigration (again!) but it's not a specific plan of action. I'd like to at least travel more, particularly to South and Central America, India and Australia
