About her
It’s good to be comfortable in your own skin by the time you’re over 65. I think you bring something extra to the table if you’re already capable of enjoying life on your own. Yet… there’s often a what if…? What if life would actually be more joyous, with some laughter and fun generated by being two of you looking for the best in life.
I work hard to keep up with modern technology and computers in my world of education. It is both satisfying and hugely good for the brain. Having seen the effect strokes have on people, I consider my working brain to be my most wonderful tool and gift.
I love trains and train travel. Went to Granada, Turin, Marseille alone on long/overnight train trips before Covid.
So much good literature I want to read. So much art I want to go and see and reflect on.
I want to sew and draw and continue to play my lovely, decent digital piano (I can’t get a wooden one up the stairs… more’s the pity)
I love cities, market towns and interesting locations. I’d like to visit all the cathedrals in Britain. Probably only managed about 10 so far.
I’m affectionate, realistic, happy-natured. Oh and I’m pretty quick witted. I love good conversation and cheeky humour.
