About her
Independent, intelligent, attractive, healthy, kind, empathetic and, “the best grandma in the world!”are some of the ways I have been described. I am interested in the natural world, history, art and music. I took up art classes when I was widowed many years ago and enjoy attempting to capture things and places in different media - with varying degrees of success. Since moving to Dorset to be near my family three years ago I have enjoyed regular walks throughout the year of 4 to 6 miles all over the county, and have found so many pretty villages and always beautiful countryside. I attend exercise classes at the local sports centre and usually eat sensibly. I usually enjoy cooking but find a glass of wine always helps things along. I love travelling in France, spend summer holidays on small Greek Islands and have a serious bucket list all of which would be better with two.
I am definitely a ‘glass half full’ person and try to find the best side of any situation. I believe life is too short to be miserable!

While I am lucky to have good friends it would be wonderful to find a special companion who would share some of my interests and introduce me to new ones (always happy to learn).
