About her
My outlook on life is positive despite what is going on in the world. I don't feel my age and still work part-time and find connecting with and helping people very rewarding. I write, and as time passes, this is something I intend to develop. I am creative and plan on taking up oil painting again.
I love the Devon countryside, walking and being outdoors and am a National Trust member and passionate about nature. I like many things; good conversation, a glass of red wine, a delicious healthy meal, spending time with family and friends, traveling to beautiful places especially France where my mother lives and Italy where a friend lives, a good hike or a good book, music, gardening, meditation, a picnic on the beach and my little rescue cat. I used to ski and loved it but haven't been for ages so imagine I'd be back on the nursery slopes. I enjoy close friendships but can be equally happy in my own company though feel it's time to share my life with someone special - it is so nice to share different ideas and experiences together.
I dislike soaps on TV, swearing unless it's out of anger as in many ways I am quite sensitive, (I so did not like the film Wicked Little Letters!), Not so keen on cruises or package holidays and love exploring and finding unique beautiful places off the beaten track.
A sense of humour is important to me and being able to laugh together. I believe we create our own destiny and I am still looking forward to some wonderful years ahead. Now feels like the right time to be with someone to share more adventures together and include the possibility of living abroad especially France- ultimately I am looking for love and close connection. My photos are recent - two from this month and most people think I am younger than my years. I am still pretty fit and flexible and enjoy Pilates and yoga and I walk most days out in nature.

To begin with, just connecting and getting to know one another and building a friendship but ultimately I am looking for that spark, a shared sense of humour so we laugh together, someone creative who has an interesting life and some chemistry between us. Someone who can listen, is intelligent, articulate, warm, open-hearted, happy in his own skin. You are bound to be fun but with depth in equal measure, enjoy being outdoors in nature, travelling, cooking together, and maybe a visit to a country pub after a bracing walk.
