I am active, outgoing, sociable and personable with a lively, friendly personality.
I spend a lot of time outdoors, in particular walking and cycling, and meeting friends, appreciating the sense of freedom it brings and benefitting from the beauty of nature and the countryside. I enjoy seeing birds in their natural habitat and the wide variety of wild flowers and amazing views. I love a good chat with congenial company, and like to share the rich experiences of life, too.
I have a large garden I am doing my best to manage and would enjoy visits to concerts, the theatre, cinema, dining out and day trips.
I am proactive and look for interesting opportunities to fill my days. I enjoy visiting gardens and National Trust properties, exploring interesting places (towns, cities, the seaside) and I would like a special someone to share these with.
When at home, and forced to do housework, I like to listen to Radio 4 and Classic FM and relax in front of the TV after a busy day. I also occasionally tune into local radio to catch up on news and chat, A new folk choir has tempted me out to join them and I'm enjoying the close harmony of the music and the fun we have. I'm joining the U3A to explore new interests and friendships.
