I enjoy getting to know new people, love traveling, holidays, its difficult to say how other people see you but I think I am always kind, and enjoy life.
The countryside is a great part of my life although I live in what is now a city ( lol).
Walking the public footpaths of Essex and further afield, allows me to escape at least briefly the confines of modern life. A walk on a spring morning with the birds singing and nature bursting with the joy of life .
Holidays and traveling is also very important to me as it gives a better understanding of diverse people and cultures.
I am probably a little eccentric I don't always like conformity ,for instance I still drive an old works van, rather than a car its convenient all my walking gear and tents can be chucked in the back and away I go . Having been single for a while now a car has never been that important lets hope that changes.

Difficult to say really I don't have an ideal type of person as we are all different just someone who is fun to be with.
Having given this more thought rather than just submitting a bland anyone will do type of profile. I would be looking for someone to share my dreams and hopes but just as important to me would be a person who has there own hoped for adventures that could be shared.
It would be great to meet a fellow adventurer , for long walks , hiking , traveling (would love to go back to Australia) .
Also happy for cosy nights in on a winters evening.
