Hello, and thanks for reading this. I'm finding it difficult to describe myself, but I'll give it a try.
I'm a fit, healthy, happy person with great sense of humour. I'm not lonely but it would be wonderful to have a new friend to share my life and interests with.
I've always been active , and I love the outdoors, walking in the hills and lakes, playing a bit of golf, appreciating the natural world and keeping my small garden under control. Spending time with my family and friends is also very important.
I've always loved to travel but do so a bit less these days. I'm sure my interest could be revived with a new travelling companion!
I'm not a ' drinker ' but I enjoy a G& T and the occasional glass of wine with a meal. It's a lovely way to get to know someone. I definitely don't smoke, and would not want to be with someone who did.
Overall I'm easygoing and not afraid to laugh at myself. I'm a faithful, discrete and considerate friend and my family mean a lot to me. If you like the sound of that, why not get in touch?

I would like to meet someone with a similar outlook on life to myself. Someone who doesn't take themself too seriously, and enjoys laughing at the humour in everyday life..
An interest in the countryside, natural history and outdoors, an active fit person with a healthy lifestyle would be my ideal, and definitely a non- smoker.
I'm not a complete health freak though! I love a good meal with a bottle of wine, visits to the theatre, even the ballet ( Not very often in Cumbria these days) and even the odd tribute band!
