But if you're a blurb-reader, you're instantly taller and more handsome. I know, it's that easy!
So I'm optimistic, cynical, love home, love travelling, am left of centre, pro-European, like simple things and I time-travel using good music, literature, theatre and film.
I'm a writer in the public sector, but also write comedy and fiction.
Originally, I hail from Yorkshire so I need my daily fix of nature, and black humour, but now live in the Sussex forest, with my wood-burner and cat, sometimes roasting her on the fire when nights are cold.
I like being on my own, but also love good conversation. I am happy in my own skin, and don't need to wear animals.
I think I'm kind, relaxed, green, curious, straight-talking, mischievous, irreverent, quick-witted, and natural, definitely more Bridget Jones than Brigitte Bardot. Soz, chaps.
