About her
I’m looking for a soul mate to enjoy days out and maybe weekends and or holidays in time. I have lots of interests to share and look forward to being introduced to things I haven’t yet explored or experienced.
I miss eating out as a couple and would also love to be cooking at home with you, and enjoying a relaxing evening, just the two of us.
I am happy in my own skin and enjoy lots of different things. I’m quite musical and played the piano, and tenor recorder (eek) when I was younger, but now I’m happy listening at home, in the car, or going to concerts. I’m a bit of a social secretary where I live and organise days and evenings out with my friends and neighbours. There’s always something in the diary. My particular favourites are theatre, opera, and ballet when I get the chance. Doesn’t always need to be Covent Garden or West End, though that’s great as a treat. There are small theatres where I live showing fabulous amateur dramatic productions as well as touring shows.
Walking in the countryside is also a love, slightly shorter ones these days than the 10 plus miles I regularly did. I love trees and miss all the beautiful ones in the south of England.
Originally from Cheshire I have spent most of my life in the south, in particular Hampshire, but now I’ve moved back northwards.
With 3 grown up daughters and 7 grandchildren keeping me on my toes, They say that children keep you young. That’s true but they can be equally exhausting!
I love music from 60s, 70s and 80s plus lots of classical. Modern music not really my cup of tea, though I do have a wide range of musical favourites. Love that some of the old original bands are still touring and I’ve seen quite a few lately, plus some very good copycat bands who are vey good. Local am dram where I live is alive and well, I took part a while ago and now I’m happy to turn up and enjoy the show.
