I love being out and about with a dog and a sense of humour. I much prefer to see what there is to see rather than sit about and am much happier in the countryside than the city.
I love music of most genres, walking and generally keeping fit, word and number puzzles - I rarely leave home without some puzzles in my bag, sports, animals, comedy, theatre, concerts, travel, history, architecture, hot chocolate, cake (who doesn’t?!)……
My motto is I’ll try anything once. Why not?

You’ll definitely need to be an active animal lover with a sense of humour.
Friendship is the most important factor for me, someone I can go walking up hills with (preferably a hill with a good cafe or pub close by),go to all sorts of concerts with, talk about any and every subject with and not be judged. I’m not sure I’m looking for a serious relationship at the moment. Mutual respect, kindness, generosity of spirit and a sense of fun - I find it harder to take myself and others seriously as I age.
