However, I am serious about being caring, considerate, attentive, well-mannered, at all times, in all circumstances ...opening doors, pulling back chairs, etc ...and in every way, 'She Comes First' ! Ian Kerner, good book.
Plus, only if you do want an active man - not retired, not slowing down, not taking life easy, not travelling the world. I am still very full-on, no intention of retiring any decade soon ...well, 2035 at the earliest (thereafter when Madam tells me to, no doubt !). I'm very much a player, not bench, in the Energy Transition / Renewables / Sustainability industries, and government.
Definitely on for 'weekends are ours', long weekends exploring Scotland/the UK, sunny holidays abroad ....engaging in activities that we both like to do twogether, selected from yours and mine both, eg for my part : relaxed reading mornings with activity afternoons and cultural evenings; eg playing Tennis, skiing-skating-dancing, sailing-scuba-surfing, cycling (Serre des Ormes ?) and hill climbing (Munros ?); theatre, opera and rugby matches (favourite is Rome, haven't done so since I immigrated to Aberdeen from London in 2011).
Home life twogether is important too - from daily cooking which I love / your waistline might suffer ! ; weekly health & fitness...including dancing around the kitchen table ! ; monthly domestic & social To Do's ; annual objectives eg my staple is minimum of 3x blood donations to the NHS pa, 126x to date, ...and how about creating a mini farmette/home twogether - chooks, buzzy bees, organic veg & fruit ? ...maybe when we've both retired !!
