I am thoughtful, well educated, independent, have a sense of humour. I am interested, keen to learn and try new things.
I enjoy theatre, especially Shakespeare and other classics, opera, reading, walking, the sea, stately homes, art galleries. Find me a fossil, I'm yours for life!

I have few photographs as I am one of those primitive peoples who think it steals your soul.
I am a widow of over five years and in that time have built an independent and enjoyable life with a few good friends and family.
I enjoy books, theatre, days out, and in, markets, sunshine, the sea, galleries but would find them more enjoyable with a friend, companion, lover, as events dictate.
Food for me is fuel; nice meals out are just that. Cheese on toast is just as good. Money is not important except to buy theatre tickets.
I miss talk: opinion, discussion, jokes.
I have a loving family and drive 280 miles to see them as often as I can.
I could settle for a quiet, steady, pleasant life but have energy for more and don't think I should have to.
