About her
I think that I'm a kind, thoughtful, considerate person, someone recently described me as gentle. I'm naturally optimistic - and like to be around positive people who have a sense of humour, there is something special in sharing laughter. My small group of close friends is hugely important to me and I will go out of my way to help them.
I have a strong interest in Chinese exercise for health and have taught it for many years. That is on a distinctly part-time basis (mainly on Zoom) and keeps me fit physically and mentally (it is surprisingly difficult .to get to grips with information that is shrouded in metaphors and unusual concepts).
To be at my best, I need to spend time outside, always finding time to go out walking, often I'm found out in my garden. I usually go on holiday in the quieter, less visited parts of the UK but am happy to go abroad, again to somewhere a bit unusual rather than on a package deal. I've organised travel to India a couple of times (with my daughter), challenging but really good to go off the beaten track. I would love to have some company on my travels.

Someone intelligent, willing to consider different points of view or ideas. Also kindness is important, and patience. Being practical is good, a problem-solver. Discussing ideas respectfully in a relationship, of any sort, is important to me. Sharing my interests is not essential, having a similar outlook on life is much more important.
I would like to share time outdoors, perhaps meeting for a walk and a meal. Dishonesty is a deal breaker for me.
